The talented trio, who are currently filming the third season of their show Killing in Buildings, flex their comedic muscles in the adorable clip.
Their sketch began with Short, 72, asking his close friend and longtime collaborator Martin, 77, if he wanted to watch the SAG Awards.
Steve refuses, and Short mentions how weird he’s been all day and asks him what’s wrong. The Pink Panther actor responded that he doesn’t want to be friends with Short anymore.
“But we’ve been best friends – well, we’ve been pretending to be best friends – for years,” a Short shot back. ‘There’s no one I feel like lying around.’

The quote: ‘Just move the rocking chair,’ said the Jerk player to the Innerspace player. The use of the word ‘feckin’ refers to the number of characters, notably those played by Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell, who utter a particular swear word in The Banshees by Inisherin.

‘Move him all the way out of the feckin’ frame,’ Steve added as Short moved his chair away from the Texas native.
‘Out of the frame? Departure!’ the Canadian-American actor responded before Steve threatened to cut off all of his own fingers. Gleeson’s character cuts off his fingers in the film.
‘But if you cut your fingers, you can’t play the banjo again,’ was the short answer, pointing to Steve’s skill with the instrument.
Gomez, 30, then walked in and asked what was going on. Steve hands her a paper showing that he and Martin have been nominated for a SAG award.
The shorter one changed his tone, grabbing Steve’s neck and yelling, ‘I’m going to cut off more than your freakin’ fingers, you’ve got a surprise!’
‘It’s okay,’ Selena said to reassure her colleagues. ‘Of course you will lose.’ Steve and Martin agree and hug him as the game ends.
While she joked about losing both stars, it turns out the Calm Down singer was right on the money with her prediction.
