My top 10 things to watch Monday, February 27th
1. The Dowand S&P 500 and also Nasdaq look to bounce Monday after their worst week of 2023. Despite 2-year Treasury yields increased in July 2007, the holdings continued to open. The strong rally that started the year is winding down, with the Dow now negative year to date. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq are still up about 3.5% and about 9% in 2023. bitcoin the best example right now of exaggeration? She came down with difficulty.

2. Investors are getting some respite next week from the tough inflation data of the past two weeks as Wall Street prepares to close the books on what has been a scary February. Salesforce ( CRM ) and Costco ( COST ) exited with gains this week. I think there is a “good chance” Salesforce co-founder and CEO Marc Benioff, under pressure from investors, will announce a bridge plan.
3. Wheat prices are falling due to Russia’s large crop. It is very good for inflation as food inflation is very bitter. He also has a salary and housing. The Wall Street Journal reports that the housing boom is starting to put pressure on rents. It does not show up in government records. Perhaps, a definite reduction in the cost of the process.
4. It was wonderful to see everyone turn out for the Club’s first “Annual Meeting” on Saturday in New York City. We streamed the event live and you can watch the replay video here. One of the things we talked about is the first thing you should do before you buy a single piece of clothing. It has to understand your world view. Here’s how much and how you can think about developing yours.
5. Is it time to buy more semis? The group is trying to fail Nvidia‘s (NVDA) and strong movement last week. The rest are our Club players Micro developing devices (AMD) again Qualcomm (QCOM).
6. Morgan Stanley raises Crowdstrike’s (CRWD) price target to $150 per share from $135; it keeps the fat (buy) value. In the cyber security sector, we like and own Palo Alto Networks (PANW) for Club.
7. Barclays said TeslaTSLA’s ( TSLA ) analyst meeting on Wednesday could be a sell-out event. Shares of Elon Musk’s EV-maker have gained 60% year-to-date after a bad 2022; but it is still down about 50% from its 52-week high in April.
8. Twitter, Musk’s new project, has cut another 10% of the company’s already reduced workforce, The New York Times reported.
9. Love Pfizer (PFE) buy Seagen (SGEN)? The WSJ said the companies are in early talks. Shares of Seagen rose 12% on Monday morning. It will be a very expensive deal. But at the same time, it will help Pfizer in the long run as it will improve the cancer treatment.
10. Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.a) results in disappointing performance so Warren Buffett sits on purchasing power. Insult to Senator Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts. Buffett talks about Coca-Cola (OR) yes American Express (AXP) and how old investors made a lot of money. He talked about America’s tailwind.
