Alec Baldwin and the “Rust” movie series have been named in a negligence lawsuit filed by three former crew members who say they witnessed the shooting death of actress Halyna Hutchins.
Ross Addiego, Doran Curtin and Reese Price are suing Baldwin, Rust Movie Productions, LLC and El Dorado Pictures for damages resulting from injuries sustained on set, “including, but not limited to, hearing loss, deafness for a while, and shake shake.” and suit.
Documents obtained by Fox News Digital state, “On October 21, 2021, defendant Alexander R. Baldwin III fired a Colt .45 revolver at crew members on the set of the movie Rust , killing the film’s Director of Photography – Halyna Hutchins – and injuring Ross Addiego, Doran Curtin and Reese Price (“The Plaintiffs”).
“These injuries were caused by the defendants’ failure to comply with industry safety standards. The defendants made judgment calls; they ignored numerous undocumented firearm discharge reports; and they persisted , they rushed to complete the film without any workers.”

Baldwin denied that he pulled the trigger that killed Hutchins.
“Alec Baldwin’s negligence and carelessness in the production of Rust cannot be excused,” said Jacob G. Vigil, the attorney for the three former crew members, in a statement provided to Fox. News Digital.
Addiego, Curtin and Price claimed that the “gun heavy” western flick was allowed “21 days to film” and had “safety concerns” throughout production. They accused assistant director David Halls of “cutting corners” with safety and skipping important steps. He also failed to “properly share” safety information and how the cast and crew should handle weapons.
The three crew members remember Baldwin receiving the gun on the day of the murder. “No one examined the revolution before Halls turned it over to defendant Baldwin,” the documents state. “He didn’t ask anyone to confirm or show the rebel’s safety before this exchange. And he didn’t ask to see if the bullet was in the revolver’s chamber – despite his knowledge of the difference between live and inflated rounds, and the load. stuff. and unload the chamber. Instead, defendant Baldwin accepted the plea without proving that it was a ‘cool gun’.”

“With his right hand, defendant Baldwin repeatedly drew a revolver on his body from his left shoulder and pointed it at the crew members who were standing in front of him, including the prosecutors.”
In the third drawing, “The defendant Baldwin struck the hammer of the revolver with red fire and fired it towards the workers who were beating Hutchins, and wounded the plaintiffs.”

“The claim that went out directly in the small church was insufficient, which caused the claimants to be injured by the bomb blast,” the documents also stated.
“After the shootings, the defendants did not provide investigative services or any services of exercise or reasonable thought to the plaintiffs. However, the plaintiffs sought their own support for address their trauma which includes, but is not limited to, insomnia, stress, anxiety, and depression, among others. symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.”

Last week, Baldwin pleaded not guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter. He is also facing a civil lawsuit brought against him by the Hutchins family. In October, Baldwin and “Rust” producers reached a settlement with Hutchins’ husband Matthew Hutchins in a wrongful death lawsuit.
